Our History
With over 20 years of experience in finance, accounting, and data analytics in the public sector, Neva Martinez founded Appleseed Business Services LLC in 2021 as both a reflection of her career journey and a tribute to the leadership of women entrepreneurs who inspire her.
Appleseed specializes in accounting and financial consulting for mission-driven organizations and small businesses. Grounded in fundamental accounting principles, the firm offers services in cash management, financial analysis, risk mitigation, and performance management.
Beyond her consulting practice, Neva has served for over four years on a K–12 school district finance and audit committee and holds board leadership roles with several nonprofits across the Denver metro area. She has helped guide and implement impactful, community-based programs supporting youth, the Latino community, and women.
